That turns skilled home-based stitchers into a coordinated local manufacturing network.
Each stitcher focuses on the product category they do best, such as children’s clothes, ladies’ frocks, men’s shirts, abayas or fabric bags. A central hub manages approved designs, fabric, cutting, quality checks, labels, stock records and payments.
Delivery partners collect completed garments through planned routes. The approved stock then moves to weekly markets, local clothing shops, home-based resellers and online customers.
Every garment can carry a maker story, such as “Stitched by Chandima in Kandy. Batch No: 04/10.” This gives the customer a limited, traceable and human-made Sri Lankan product.
The ecosystem creates income for skilled women, delivery opportunities for young people, and fresh quality stock for market sellers and retailers.
